Questions we get asked

Do you charge for a quote?

No. Surveys and quotes are completely free and there's no obligation. We'll get up on the roof (or use a drone where access is tricky), take photos, and send you a written, itemised price.

How long does a full re-roof take?

A typical Bristol terrace or semi takes three to five working days once the scaffold is up, weather permitting. We'll give you a realistic schedule with the quote rather than an optimistic one.

Can you fix a leak without replacing the whole roof?

Very often, yes. Plenty of "the roof needs replacing" jobs turn out to be failed flashing, a cracked valley or a handful of slipped slates. We'll always tell you if a repair will do — and we'll tell you honestly if it won't.

Do you sort the scaffolding?

Yes. Scaffold and any access equipment is arranged by us and included in your quote, so there's no separate bill landing later.

What guarantee do I get?

Workmanship on new roofs and flat roof systems is guaranteed in writing for up to 10 years, with manufacturer warranties on the materials on top. You'll get the paperwork when we finish.

Do you do emergency call-outs?

We do. Storm damage, a slate through a skylight, water coming through a ceiling — call us and we'll get out to make it safe and watertight, then quote for the permanent repair.
